Myofascial trigger points are frequently overlooked as a source of pain and dysfunction. Trigger points create many health problems that are often misdiagnosed for other disease processes because of the referral pain patterns. This course covers some of the advanced pain patterns and symptoms of primary and secondary trigger points and the satellite trigger points that can cause various symptoms. This course also covers perpetuating factors, advanced pain patterns, how to deactivate trigger points and what to do to prevent redevelopment of these pain patterns.
