The Camfield Building
The Academy of Natural Therapy, the Academy of Natural Therapy Clinic, and the Camfield Apartments all reside in the historic Camfield Building. The building was originally finished in 1911 and was the centerpiece of busy Old Town Greeley. The Mongan’s purchased the building in 2005 with the vision of bringing back the “friendly, small-town” atmosphere. The Academy’s founder, Dorothy Mongan’s, dream for the building is “to remember a time when life was slower-paced and people took time for health and relaxation.”
As you enter the building, allow yourself to be taken to a different time; notice the original hand-crafted ceiling tiles; the copper signage from the original tenant, the City National Bank & Trust; all of the historic artifacts that have been uncovered during the remodeling are now housed in our quaint museum. Watch the building be restored to its original glory.
The Academy of Natural Therapy Clinic was designed to be as elegant and grand as the building it is housed in. Marble floors, spacious therapy rooms, elegant furnishings, and a 20 ft. heated, salt water therapy pool allows clients to be pampered. This specialized setting also provides the serenity and peacefulness for optimal relaxation and healing.
The Academy of Natural Therapy utilizes the building’s unique architecture for its large multi-purpose classrooms, student library and study area, student clinic, and the spacious auditorium.
The Camfield Building is an important and historic piece of downtown Greeley, Colorado and the Academy of Natural Therapy has been commended for bringing downtown Greeley back to life. We look forward to continually enhancing the building as well as the community as a whole.
